It looks beatifully serene out there. Travelling in the shuttle from the airport at Heraklion, along the coastal highways carved out of the volcanic rocks, the place that comes to mind is gran canaria. After not feeling too hot over the weekend, I am back to winning ways again thanks to some rest, water and lemons. I find 30 degrees in the City is too hot, especially because it’s so built up.
